Sad new Nintendo news
Some of these news are sad
Nintendo Switch Online vouchers are going bye bye
If you don’t know, there are these NSO Game Vouchers. And one of those vouchers can unlock a whole Nintendo game. You would buy these vouchers in pair, and one pair costed 99 Euros.
So, when you’re buying two Nintendo games, it would cost 120 euros. (ouch)
But thanks to these vouchers, you would save 21 euros!
Aaaaaand Nintendo is shutting them down. Very unfortunate. They don’t want you saving money anymore.
On January 30th 2026, it will no longer be possible to purchase them.
Oh yeah, they also expire exactly a year after purchase.
Sad moment…

NINTENDO WORKED WITH THE FBI TO SHUT DOWN A PIRACY WEBSITE?!?!
Ok this isn’t really sad. This is good because no more piracy.
There is a… well… WAS a website where you could illegally download Nintendo games.
It was called nsw2u. Now instead of letting those filthy pirates commit theft it now displays this image:

I’m not kidding. Go to nsw2u.com yourself.
Person got banned for playing games bought on Facebook marketplace
It’s true. His console got banned for playing games bought off Facebook Marketplace.
But first, let me explain. You see, the Nintendo servers detect piracy in a lot of ways, and one of the is when one copy of the game is being played on 2 consoles… at the same time.
What happened, was that the seller copied the files from his cartridge and sold the cartridge. Then the buyer put the cartridge he bought from the seller and played it.
But the seller who copied the cartridge before selling it was also playing.
Nintendo servers were like “uhh… why is there one game cartridge being played on two consoles at the same time?” and the servers banned the seller’s console but also the buyer’s console.
But don’t worry, the buyer proved to Nintendo he bought his games legally and his Switch got unbanned. Yay!!!!
Not sad news after all!

Nintendo Switch 2 System Update!!
The Nintendo Switch 2 has received a new 20.2.0 system version.
Here are the update notes:
Fixed an issue where Parental Controls settings were not transferred to Nintendo Switch 2 from Nintendo Switch in certain circumstances during a system transfer.
Fixed an issue where you could not proceed past “Searching for networks...” in Internet Settings within System Settings.
General system stability improvements to enhance the user's experience
There doesn’t really need to be a source. It’s even on Nintendo Support’s website.
Donkey Kong Movie?!?
Yep. These news are definitely no longer sad. These are GREAT news.
So someone was on the U.S. government’s trademark website and noticed there’s a new trademark for “Donkey Kong”… but this time it says it’s a motion picture and the second party will be Universal.
MEANING DONKEY KONG MOVIE IS CONFIRMED!!
Zelda Movie Cast Announcement
So I was writing this, about to publish this AND GOT A NOTIFICATION FROM NINTENDO TODAY LIKE 15 SECONDS AGO!!
Here’s who’s gonna play in the Zelda live-action movie:
Zelda will be played by Bo Bragason
Link will be played by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth
That’s all we know for now. The movie is releasing 7th of May 2027.

Support the Stop Killing Games petition!
Videogames are at risk! Publishers have started getting GREEDY. One company has sold a game, and later taken it away with no refund! Why? Because it’s a license. The players never owned the game in the first place!
A group of people has started a petition to STOP THIS. Buying a license for a game should not mean NOT owning the game.
Let's stop those greedy companies! Sign the petition today to SAVE GAMING

This isn’t just another useless petition. This petition goes directly to the EU government. Meaning enough signatures will make a new law to stop those greedy publishers.
*Only for EU and UK citizens
The End
Thank you!!!!
