Hello, this is your weekly Nintendo-related news email for July 10th, 2025:

Table of Contents

Furukawa talks about game prices

Basically, a shareholder said, that he’s worried games will get more expensive, because it will be harder to make games for a powerful console, such as the Nintendo Switch 2, meaning the games will cost more to make.

Furukawa said: Our dev teams are working to maintain our approach to creating games amidst increasing scale and length. We also believe it is possible to develop game software with shorter development periods that still offer consumers a sense of novelty.

Nintendo is working on a Zelda movie?!?

Yes, it is real, it’s confirmed. Nintendo is working on a Zelda live-action movie.

Nintendo will work directly with Sony Pictures Entertainment to make the movie, instead of just giving them the rights to make it for them.

The movie is releasing May 2027.

New Nintendo 64 Online games leaked?!?

This isn’t really official or confirmed, but we may get Donkey Kong 64, Glover and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Classics!

Over a month ago, Nintendo released a video showcasing a new Nintendo Classics update. People have noticed that the blurred background has games, that we don’t currently have.

As you can see in the image above, these are the games that may have been leaked by Nintendo.

Themes?!? Finally?!?

Nintendo Switch 2 may get HOME MENU THEMES!!!

Allegedly, they won’t arrive this year.

I personally doubt that we will actually get menu themes back… but you never know! It’s Nintendo after all!

New Banjo-Kazooie game?

Microsoft is reportedly considering greenlighting a new Banjo-Kazooie game.

Animal Crossing… Crocs?

Crocs has confirmed they are working with Nintendo on new Animal Crossing Crocs.

Ah, that’s what I needed in my life… crossing crocs.

Support the Stop Killing Games petition!

Videogames are at risk! Publishers have started getting GREEDY. One company has sold a game, and later taken it away with no refund! Why? Because it’s a license. The players never owned the game in the first place!

A group of people has started a petition to STOP THIS. Buying a license for a game should not mean NOT owning the game.

Let's stop those greedy companies! Sign the petition today to SAVE GAMING

This isn’t just another useless petition. This petition goes directly to the EU government. Meaning enough signatures will make a new law to stop those greedy publishers.

The End
